Indian Air Force Receives Four Chinook Helicopters
As per press Trust of India has reported that Indian Air Force (IAF) has been delivered Four Chinook Helicopters. Said by Major Boeing.
Major Boeing Confirmed that the Helicopters were received at the Mundra Port in Gujuarat and they would be sent to Chandigarh and they would be formally induucted IAF by the end of this 2019
These Helicopters will be helpfull in transporting Troops, artillery equipment and Instrumental in disaster relief Missions.
As Major Boeing told these Helicopters Would Provide Indian Armed Forces with unmatched Strategic airlift during Combat 15 Chinook Helicopters and 22 Apache Helicopters were Ordered by the IAF in Sep. 2015 and the deal is around $ 3 Billion.
